When we started working with Brico Depôt, the social media landscape looked very different. In its industry, all brands followed the same formula, creating a "sea of sameness" where every feed was practically interchangeable: polished interior shots aligned with the latest aesthetic trends.
Continuing down that path posed a major problem—not only due to the complete lack of differentiation but also because, in Brico Depôt’s case, this aesthetic had nothing to do with what their stores actually looked like. This created a disconnect between what they showcased on social media and what customers would experience if they decided to visit a store.
What you see
is what we are.
That’s why we decided to take a much more honest and relatable approach. Customers, users, and employees became the protagonists, while the stores themselves turned into the perfect backdrop for content. This shift established a highly recognizable brand connection between the online and offline worlds.
Hey, we did it first!
On both Instagram and TikTok, we became pioneers in social media communication, breaking away from industry norms and embracing new formats—even when most brands were still debating whether TikTok was just for teenagers and dance trends.
